SPM001 100A LED Voltmeter Ammeter KWH Wattmeter | Reset
SPM001 Multi-Functional LED Voltmeter Ammeter KWH Meter with Power Factor & Reset
The SPM001 Multi-Functional LED Panel Meter is a compact, high-precision electrical monitoring instrument that simultaneously measures AC voltage, AC current, active power, electric energy (KWH), and power factor — all displayed on bright, easy-to-read LED digits. Whether you're managing a workshop, monitoring industrial equipment, or building a custom electrical panel, this all-in-one wattmeter gives you complete visibility into your electrical circuit at a glance.
Key Features
- Multi-Parameter Measurement: Simultaneously tracks AC voltage (80V–300V or 200V–450V), AC current (0–100A), active power (0–30,000W), electric energy (0.000–9999.9 KWH), and power factor (0.000–1.000).
- Dual-Color LED Display: Four red 0.32" LEDs for voltage, current, and power factor; five green 0.32" LEDs for active power and electric energy — clear readouts in any lighting condition.
- High Accuracy: ±1% (±2 digits) with auto-ranging current accuracy — 0.01A precision below 10A and 0.1A above 10A.
- Fast Refresh Rate: Updates 2 times per second for near real-time monitoring.
- Resettable KWH Counter: Press and hold the SAM button for 5 seconds while in KWH display mode to reset the energy counter and begin a new accumulation period.
- Non-Volatile Memory: Retains KWH data when power is lost and continues accumulating from the saved value on restart.
- Compact Panel-Mount Design: Overall dimensions 79×43×48mm; installation cutout 76×39mm — fits standard DIN panel openings.
- Wide Voltage Range Options: Available for standard (AC 80–300V) or high-voltage (AC 200–450V) applications.

How to Use
- Connect the secondary wire of the current transformer (green wire) to the blue terminal, and route the load wire through the hole in the current transformer as shown in the diagram.
- Connect the measuring voltage source to the green terminal.
- On power-up, the meter displays voltage, current, and power factor. Press the SAM button to cycle through active power → electric energy → power factor in turn.
- To reset the KWH counter: navigate to the electric energy display (KWH indicator lit), then press and hold SAM for 5 seconds until the value resets to zero.
- On power loss, the KWH value is saved automatically and resumes accumulation on next power-up.
⚠ Important: Do NOT swap the voltage input (green terminal) and current transformer secondary (blue terminal) connections. Incorrect wiring can permanently damage the meter. Always verify wiring before powering on.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between the AC 80–300V and AC 200–450V versions of the SPM001 voltmeter ammeter?
A: The two versions are designed for different voltage ranges. The AC 80–300V model suits standard residential and commercial circuits (110V–240V), while the AC 200–450V version is intended for higher-voltage industrial or three-phase applications. Choose the version that matches your circuit's operating voltage for accurate readings.
Q: Does the SPM001 KWH meter require an external current transformer to measure current?
A: Yes. The SPM001 uses an external current transformer (CT) for its 0–100A current measurement. You route the load-carrying wire through the CT's center hole and connect the CT's secondary output to the blue terminal on the meter. This is a standard and safe method for measuring high AC currents in panel meters.
Q: Will the SPM001 lose its accumulated KWH energy reading if the power goes off?
A: No. The SPM001 features non-volatile memory that saves the KWH energy total when power is removed. When the meter powers back on, it resumes accumulating energy from the last saved value, ensuring no energy data is lost during outages or shutdowns.
Q: How do I reset the electric energy (KWH) counter on the SPM001?
A: Press the SAM button to cycle the green LED display until the KWH energy screen is active (the KWH indicator light will be on). Then press and hold the SAM button for approximately 5 seconds. The counter will reset to zero and begin a new accumulation period.
