Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the RF 433MHz smart switch module work with Alexa, Google Home, or other smart-home systems?

A: No. This relay receiver module operates solely on the 433.92 MHz RF frequency and uses a standalone learning-code pairing method. It is not compatible with Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Alexa, or Google Home. It requires a dedicated 433MHz RF remote transmitter to function.

Q: What types of devices can I control with this wireless relay module?

A: The module supports AC 85–240 V loads up to 10 A, making it ideal for LED lamps, fluorescent lights, standard light bulbs, and other low-to-medium load electrical devices. Always ensure the connected device's wattage does not exceed the relay's rated capacity.

Q: How far away can I operate the RF remote control switch?

A: In open, unobstructed areas the wireless range is 20 to 100 metres. Range may be reduced indoors due to walls, metal structures, and other physical obstructions. Placement of the receiver module near a window or away from large metal objects can improve signal reach.

Q: Can I pair multiple remote controls to one receiver module?

A: Yes. The learning-code system allows you to store multiple remote transmitters to a single receiver — simply repeat the two-press pairing process for each additional remote. To remove all paired remotes, press the controller key 8 times to clear all stored codes.
