How the Hotel Lock System Works
The HTlock platform runs on a LAN server you host on-site. Every device — lock, gateway, and encoder — connects to the server over your local network. Receptionists access the clean, web-based room map from any browser to check-in guests, issue keycards, extend stays, or check out rooms in one click. Lock access logs, battery alerts, and room statuses are all visible in real time. Third-party PMS and kiosk integration is available via a standard HTTP API, making it compatible with any platform.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can the JCSMARTS Bluetooth smart lock work with sliding doors?
A: Yes. The JCSMARTS JCEU06 is specifically designed to be compatible with sliding wooden doors as well as standard hinged wooden doors with a thickness of 38–65 mm, using either the 3585 or 6068 standard mortise.
Q: What unlock methods does this hotel smart lock support?
A: The lock supports three unlock methods: MIFARE 13.56 MHz keycard (limited, permanent, or cycle cards), remote control, and a mechanical key for emergencies — giving guests and staff multiple reliable access options.
Q: Do I need an internet connection to run the hotel lock management system?
A: No. The HTlock system is LAN-based and runs entirely on your local server. Card issuance and core management functions are fully operational even without an active internet connection, ensuring uninterrupted service for your property.
Q: How long do the batteries last, and is there a low battery warning?
A: The lock runs on 4 × AA dry batteries with a typical battery life of 4–8 months. The system includes a built-in low-power alarm that alerts management remotely (via gateway) when the battery is running low, so you can replace it before access is interrupted.
Q: Can this system integrate with our existing Property Management System (PMS)?
A: Yes. The HTlock hotel system provides an open HTTP API that allows seamless integration with third-party PMS, kiosk, and other platforms — without any platform or operating-system restrictions.
Q: Is there a gateway required, and what does it add?
A: The gateway is optional but highly recommended for hotels and larger properties. With a gateway, staff can remotely unlock rooms, view real-time lock logs, sync lost-card reports directly to the lock, monitor battery status, and set passage mode — all from the front-desk PC.
