Assembly Guidelines — Please Read Before Use
If Using New 18650 Cells:
- Use 18650 power-type lithium-ion cells with low internal resistance. All 5 cells must be the same brand, model, and specifications.
- Do not substitute standard energy-storage lithium cells — use only high-drain 18650 power cells.
- Before assembly, test and balance each individual cell. All 5 cells must be charged to the same voltage level before welding the PCB.
If Repairing an Existing Battery Pack:
- Test the voltage at both terminals of each existing cell.
- If voltages differ, individually charge each cell until all are at the same voltage level before proceeding with assembly.
