Key Features

  • 🌡️ High-Precision Accuracy: Measures water temperature from 0°C to 99.9°C (32°F – 210°F) with an accuracy of ±0.1°C, so you always know your tank is at the right temperature for your fish.

  • 📺 Touch-Activated LCD Display: Tap the screen to light up the large, easy-to-read display. The backlight auto-turns off after 10 seconds to conserve battery life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does this digital aquarium thermometer need to be placed inside the fish tank?

A: No — this is a wireless, external thermometer. Simply stick it to the outside of your aquarium glass below the waterline. The built-in high-precision sensor reads through tank walls up to 10 mm thick, so no probe ever enters the water.

Q: How accurate is this fish tank thermometer?

A: The sensor delivers a measurement accuracy of ±0.1°C across a range of 0°C to 99.9°C (32°F – 210°F), making it precise enough for both tropical freshwater and marine aquariums.

Q: How long does the battery last, and how do I replace it?

A: The included CR2032 coin battery typically lasts over one year under normal use. When battery life is low, the display will show "LB" every 30 seconds as a reminder. Open the battery compartment, swap in a new CR2032, and the thermometer is ready to go again — each replacement lasts approximately 2 months of active backlight use.

Q: Can I use this thermometer on a saltwater (marine) aquarium?

A: Yes! Because the thermometer attaches to the outside of the glass and never contacts the water, it works equally well for freshwater, brackish, and saltwater setups without any risk of corrosion or contamination.
