Take precise control of your electrical circuits with this industrial-grade programmable time delay relay module. Featuring a clear two-line LCD display, 10 flexible working modes (P0–P9), and a wide input voltage range of 6V to 30V DC, this module is the ideal solution for automation projects, DIY electronics, and professional control systems. Made in China.

Key Features

  • Dual-line LCD Display: View timing parameters at a glance — no guesswork, no extra equipment needed.
  • Multiple Trigger Modes: Supports high-level (3.0V–24.0V), low-level (0.0V–0.2V), and switch-quantity triggering to suit virtually any circuit setup.
  • UART Parameter Modification: Adjust settings remotely via UART communication for added flexibility.
  • Emergency Stop Button: Instantly halt timing operations for safe and responsive control.
  • Low-Power Sleep Mode: Automatically enters low-power state after 5 minutes of inactivity; any action wakes it up immediately.
  • Individual Parameter Control: OP (on-time), CL (off-time), and LOP (cycle count) can each be set independently.
  • Non-Volatile Memory: All parameters are automatically saved on power-off — your settings are retained every time.
  • Optocoupler Isolation: Strong anti-interference capability, making it suitable for industrial-grade environments.
  • Rated Service Life: Over 100,000 switching operations.

Working Modes (P0–P9)

  • P0: Trigger → MOS conducts for OP time, then disconnects. Further signals during OP time are ignored.
  • P1: Trigger → MOS conducts for OP time; re-triggering during OP starts a new timer.
  • P2: Trigger → MOS conducts for OP time; re-triggering resets the timer and immediately disconnects MOS.
  • P3: Trigger → MOS disconnects for CL time, then reconnects.
  • P4: Trigger → MOS conducts for OP time, disconnects for CL time, loops. Signal during loop stops cycle; end state is MOS disconnected.
  • P5: Trigger → MOS disconnects for CL time, conducts for OP time, loops. Signal during loop stops cycle; end state is MOS conducting.
  • P6: Auto-start on power-on. MOS conducts for OP time, disconnects for CL time, loops. Signal is inactive during loop; end state is MOS disconnected.
  • P7: Auto-start on power-on. MOS disconnects for CL time, conducts for OP time, loops. Signal is inactive during loop; end state is MOS conducting.
  • P8: Signal hold: MOS conducts while signal is active; disconnects after OP time once signal drops.
  • P9: Signal hold: MOS disconnects while signal is active; conducts after CL time once signal drops.

Timing Range Selector

Within the OP/CL parameter interface, press the STOP button to select the active timing unit:

  • XXXX → 1 sec – 9,999 sec
  • XXX.X → 0.1 sec – 999.9 sec
  • XX.XX → 0.01 sec – 99.99 sec
  • X.X.X.X → 1 min – 999.9 min

How to Configure Parameters

  1. Press and hold the SET key to enter the setting interface.
  2. Select the working mode using UP/DOWN keys (flashing mode indicator confirms selection).
  3. Short-press SET to confirm mode and enter system parameter settings.
  4. Press SET to cycle between parameters; short/long press UP/DOWN to adjust values.
  5. In the OP/CL interface, short-press STOP to switch the timing unit (1s / 0.1s / 0.01s / 1min).
  6. Hold SET for 2+ seconds to save all settings and exit the menu.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What voltage range does this programmable time delay relay module support?

A: This relay module operates on a wide DC input range of 6V to 30V, making it compatible with a broad variety of power supplies and automation systems.

Q: Can I save my timer settings if there is a power outage?

A: Yes — all configured parameters (OP time, CL time, LOP cycles, and working mode) are automatically saved to non-volatile memory and will be restored the next time the module powers on.

Q: What is the difference between the XY-WJ01, XY-WM01, and XY-DJ01 variants?

A: The variants differ in maximum output load capacity and physical size. The XY-WJ01 supports DC 30V/10A and AC 220V/5A; the XY-WM01 is DC-only at DC 30V/10A; the XY-DJ01 is the heavy-duty version, supporting DC 30V/30A and AC 220V/30A — ideal for higher-current applications.

Q: How many working modes does this relay timer module offer?

A: The module features 10 programmable working modes (P0 through P9), covering single-shot triggering, retriggerable timing, cyclic looping with adjustable on/off times, signal-hold modes, and auto-start-on-power-up sequences.

Q: What timing precision and range can I achieve with this module?

A: The timing range spans from 0.01 seconds all the way to 9,999 minutes. You can select from four precision levels (0.01s, 0.1s, 1s, and 1min units) directly from the OP/CL parameter interface using the STOP button.
