Dreamburgh Professional CO2 Generator System for Planted Aquariums

Elevate your planted aquarium with the Dreamburgh CO2 Generator System — a durable, high-performance carbon dioxide generator designed to support lush aquatic plant growth in your fish tank. Built from SUS304 stainless steel and aluminum alloy, this system outperforms basic plastic-bottle generators with greater reliability, longevity, and efficiency.

Why Your Plants Need CO2

Carbon dioxide is an essential nutrient for aquatic plant photosynthesis. Maintaining optimal CO2 levels promotes vibrant, fast-growing plants while creating a healthier, more balanced ecosystem for your fish. Key Features

  • Professional-Grade Steel Cylinder: Thick, corrosion-resistant SUS304 stainless steel body for lasting durability — far superior to plastic alternatives.
  • Automatic Safety Valve: When pressure exceeds the safe maintenance threshold, the safety valve opens automatically to protect your system and tank.
  • Polymer Microporous Filter Element: Effectively blocks and absorbs impurities in the generated gas, ensuring clean CO2 delivery to your plants.
  • Solenoid Valve Included: Precise flow control at your fingertips for consistent, adjustable CO2 output.
  • Dual Capacity Options: Available in 1L and 2L sizes to suit small to large planted aquariums.
  • Long Reaction Duration: Each raw material charge lasts approximately 3–4 weeks before replacement is needed.

Raw Material Addition Ratio (Raw Materials NOT Included)

Cylinder Size Citric Acid Baking Soda Water
1L 100g 100g 150ml
2L 200g 200g 300ml

Important Usage Notes

  1. For the 2L bottle, add only one part of raw material + 300ml water at a time.
  2. During the reaction, low temperature inside the bottle may produce water mist — this is completely normal.
  3. Do not place the cylinder upside down or at an angle.
  4. Start with 1–2 bubbles per second and monitor fish behavior closely. Excess CO2 can be harmful to fish — adjust output carefully.
  5. Raw material replacement: Confirm pressure returns to 0 → remove bubble counter and air pipe → release remaining gas → turn off remote control → disconnect solenoid valve plug → loosen valve counterclockwise → pour out waste liquid → rinse inner bottle wall with clean water → replace raw materials.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What raw materials do I need for the Dreamburgh CO2 generator system?

A: You will need citric acid, baking soda, and water — none of which are included with the kit. For the 1L cylinder, use 100g citric acid + 100g baking soda + 150ml water. For the 2L cylinder, use 200g citric acid + 200g baking soda + 300ml water (added in one part at a time).

Q: How long does each CO2 reaction last in this aquarium CO2 generator?

A: Each charge of raw materials typically produces CO2 for approximately 3–4 weeks, making it a convenient and cost-effective solution for planted fish tanks.

Q: Is the CO2 generator system safe for fish?

A: Yes, when used correctly. It is recommended to start at 1–2 bubbles per second and monitor your fish. The built-in automatic safety valve helps prevent over-pressurization, and the microporous filter element ensures clean gas output. Always adjust CO2 levels gradually.

Q: What is the difference between the 1L and 2L CO2 cylinder options?

A: The 1L cylinder (190 × 102mm) is ideal for smaller planted aquariums, while the 2L cylinder (340 × 102mm) is better suited for larger tanks requiring a higher and more sustained CO2 supply.
