3-Way Touch Dimmer Switch – Effortless Lamp Control at Your Fingertips

Upgrade any desk lamp, bedside lamp, or floor lamp with this smart 3-Way Touch Dimmer Switch Module. Simply touch the metal body of your lamp to cycle through three brightness levels — no more fumbling for a switch in the dark. Designed as a direct replacement or repair kit, this compact module installs inside your existing lamp and works seamlessly with both dimmable LED and incandescent bulbs.

Key Features

  • Touch-Activated Control: Uses human-body capacitive sensing to trigger the internal chip — just tap the lamp's metal housing to switch on, cycle brightness, or turn off.
  • 3 Brightness Levels: Cycles from Low → Medium → High → Off with each touch, giving you the perfect ambiance for any situation.
  • Flicker-Free & Silent: High-grade coil design delivers a high power factor with low temperature rise — no buzzing, no strobing, no flicker.
  • Wide Compatibility: Works with AC 110–230V systems and suits metal lamps, floor lamps, and bedside/table lamps with dimmable LED or incandescent bulbs (15–80W, 50Hz).
  • Easy Lamp Repair Kit: Perfect for restoring a broken touch lamp or converting a standard lamp into a touch-controlled one. No electrician needed for a basic swap.
  • Compact Plastic Shell: Lightweight and durable housing fits neatly inside most lamp bases.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which types of bulbs are compatible with this touch dimmer switch module?

A: This touch dimmer switch module is compatible with dimmable LED bulbs and incandescent bulbs rated between 15W and 80W at 50Hz. It is not recommended for use with non-dimmable LED or CFL bulbs, as these may flicker or not dim properly.

Q: Can this module be used in lamps outside of China — for example, in the US or UK?

A: Yes. The module supports a wide input voltage of AC 110–230V, making it compatible with both North American (110–120V) and European/UK (220–240V) mains voltages. Always ensure the wiring is performed safely and in accordance with your local electrical codes.

Q: How does the touch function work?

A: The module uses a capacitive sensing chip that detects the natural electrical properties of the human body. When you touch the metal body or hardware tray of the lamp (connected via the black touch wire), the chip registers the contact and advances to the next brightness level or turns the lamp off.

Q: Is this suitable for a DIY lamp repair?

A: Absolutely. This module is designed as a lamp repair kit for replacing a faulty touch dimmer in an existing touch lamp, or for upgrading a standard lamp to touch control. Basic wiring knowledge is helpful. If you are unfamiliar with lamp wiring, consult a qualified electrician.
